Black Sherif’s debut album, The Villain I Never Was becomes the most streamed album on the popular music streaming platform, BoomPlay Ghana.
The album is also the first-ever album from a Ghanaian artist to record over 200 million streams on Boomplay Ghana.
“The Villain I Never Was“, was released on October 6, 2022, on all streaming platforms and has since recorded millions of streams. It currently has 211.4 million streams on Boomplay Ghana.
The 14-tracked album featured the Nigerian Grammy Award-winning artist, Burna Boy. Some of the popular songs on the album are; Kweku The Traveller, Second Sermon Remix, 45, and Soja.

Though Black Sherif is new in the music industry, his records have surpassed that of the big names in the industry and many people tip him to be the first Ghanaian artist to win a Grammy.
Blacko, as he is popularly called has in recent times performed with big artists on big stages both locally and internationally.
