The year is coming to an end and every digital streaming platform is releasing its recap of the year.
Few days ago, Spotify Wrapped revealed the most streamed artists, albums and songs on Spotify in Ghana in 2021.

Boomplay, one of the best streaming platforms in Africa has also released its recap of the year. The Boomplay recap revealed the top male artistes, top female artistes, top most searched artistes, top rising artistes, top groups 2021 etc.
The top three male artistes are Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Black Sherif. Sarkodie is number one on the list. Fast rising artist, Black Sherif is second on the list. Occupying the third position is the Bhimnation president, Stonebwoy. The recap is based on streams on Boomplay from November 1, 2020 to November 1, 2021.
The top most streamed female artistes are Gyakie, Diana Hamilton and Wendy Shay. Gyakie sits at the first position. Diana Hamilton and Wendy Shay take the second and third positions respectively.
Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale takes the first position as the most searched artiste of the year on Boomplay Ghana. Following him closely is Sarkodie. Taking the third position is Stonebwoy.
Top rising artistes of the year on Boomplay Ghana are Black Sherif, Gyakie and Mr Drew.
R2Bees emerges as the best group of the year. Keche and Dead Peepol occupied the second and third positions respectively.
Black Sherif dominates the most streamed songs category with his Second Sermon and First Sermon songs taking the first and second positions respectively. Adom by Diana Hamilton takes the third position.
