    Stonebwoy Grabs 3 GRAMMYs Nominations; Full List

    After winning the  best Reggae and Dancehall artiste of the year at AFRIMA Awards 21 and selling out O2 Academy Islington for AJUKTOUR last weekend, the Ghanaian multiple award winning artiste, Stonebwoy also grabs three nominations at the 64th GRAMMYs.

    The three nominations are in the Best Reggae Album category. The albums nominated in the best reggae album category are:

    1. Etana  – “Pamoja”
    2. Morgan Heritage – “Positive Vibration”
    3. Sean Paul  –  “Live N Livin”
    4. Jesse Royal – “Royal”
    5. Soja  – “Beauty In The Silence”
    6. Spice – “10”

    Out the albums nominated in this category, Stonebwoy features on 3 to get nominated. The albums he featured on are “Live N Livin” by Sean Paul, “Pamoja” by Etana and “Royal” by Jesse Royal.

    According to GRAMMYs’, if an album or a song gets nominated in a category, every artiste that is featured on the album or the  song becomes an automatic nominee. And if an album or a song wins an award, every artiste featured on the album or the song becomes an automatic winner.

    So, since Stonebwoy featured on 3 albums that are nominated, he becomes an automatic nominee. And should any of these albums win the best reggae album of the year, Stonebwoy will be an automatic GRAMMYs winner.

    On the other hand, Ghanaian reggae legend, Rocky Dawuni also grabs a nomination with his “Voice Of Bunbon. Vol.1” album. Also, Nigerian superstar, Wizkid and Beninese legend, Angelique Kidjo also grab 2 nominations each.
