Ghanaian award-winning artiste, Livingston Etsey Sateklah, professionally known as Stonebwoy has won the “Music for Good” category at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The Music for Good category is introduced this year to award an artiste who is using his or her music to promote development in the country.
The category is sponsored by Media General, which is one of the leading media groups in Ghana. Media General is made up of TV3, Onua TV, 3 FM, Akoma FM, and Onua FM.

Presenting the award to Stonebwoy at the event yesterday, Francis Doku, the general manager of Media General stated that their reason for introducing this category is to award artists who use their songs to promote Ghana’s development.
He also added that for the next year, Media General will give Stonebwoy the necessary support he needs to promote Ghana’s development through his songs.
Part of the support includes giving Stonebwoy their platforms which include TV and radio in order to add his voice to Ghana’s development.

Other artists that were awarded on the night are Fameye, Gambo, Wiyaala, Bosom P Yung, among others.
Winners of the rest of the categories such as artist of the year, rapper of the year, hip-hop artist of the year, and popular song of the year, among others will be announced this evening.
