Druski was born on September 12, 1994, in Baltimore, Maryland, to state department employee, Cheryl Desbordes and commercial pilot, David McLain Desbordes, who had previously held the positions of captain in the United States Air Force and major in the National Guard.
Alongside his sister Nadia, who was born in 2006, he grew up in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Except for making jokes in class, he mainly avoided problems as a child while participating in sports. He was a student at Shiloh High.
Desbordes was able to graduate from high school because Nancy Gordeuk, his Spanish instructor, gave him a straightforward paper to complete that gave him credit for two years of the course.

He then enrolled in Georgia Gwinnett College before moving to Georgia Southern University, with his mother covering housing costs. He grew despondent and stopped going to school; instead, he watched YouTube videos.
