Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, professionally known as Sarkodie has paid the full medical bill of Ghc13,000.00 for a detained baby at the Ridge Hospital, Accra.
Earlier today, Metro TV reported that an 18 months old baby, Rose was detained at the Ridge Hospital, Accra for the inability of the family to settle her medical bill of GHc13,000.00. Little Rose, according her mother, accidentally fell into hot water. Metro TV then started a hashtag on Twitter to raise Ghc20 from 650 people to settle the medical bill for the little girl.

Few moments after the hashtag was started, Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie reached out to Bridget Otto, a news anchor at Metro TV and settled the full medical bill for the little girl, Rose.

According to Bridget Otto, she made it clear to Sarkodie that some people had donated some and he said it was okay and that the rest of the money be given to the parent of the child.
