The Video Assistant Referee(VAR) machine which was used during the World Cup playoffs match between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria is reportedly missing.

The match was a crucial match for the two countries since they all wanted to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

After full time, the supporters of the Super Eagles of Nigeria evaded the park and started destroying whatever they come into contact with. Some have even attacked Ghanaian supporters. Their reason for evading the park was that their players disappointed them.

The angry Nigerian supporters were captured on video damaging the stadium. Attempts by security personnel to stop them proved futile until tear gas was fired at the stadium.

 

Reports reaching trendy Gh indicate that the VAR machine which was used during the match has been stolen. Fifa has started an investigation into the issue to bring the criminals to book.
