Ghanaian multiple award winning artiste, Livingstone Etsey Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy is not only healing souls through music, but also doing his best to see his people live a better life.
Stonebwoy has been doing a lot through his foundation, Livingstone Foundation.
Few months ago, Stonebwoy’s Livingstone Foundation organized free skills training workshop for Bhimnatives in Ashaiman. They have made donations to Korle Bu teaching hospital and also paid hospital bills for people at the hospital.
This time, the Livingstone Foundation is partnering with Dr Kwabena Duffuor’s foundation, Duffuor Foundation, to build school in Trekume in the Anloga District in the Volta Region of Ghana.

A post on official Facebook page of Dr Kwabena Duffuor reads “Stonebwoy’s Livingstone Foundation and The Duffuor Foundation are partnering to create change in the lives of children through the Ghanaian Dream project, the first step of which will be building a school in Trekume in the Anloga District in the Volta region.
Trekume is a small, agricultural community with a population of around 5000 people and the Trekume basic school is the only school in the area, serving six surrounding communities: Dosukope, Nyikutor, Mamime, Lividzi, Dewenu and Dewegodo..
The Trekume basic school has seen no renovation since it was built many years ago and it is currently in a deplorable state, with uncompleted school buildings, broken chairs and tables, absence of a library and computer lab and no books covering the new curriculum by the Ghana Education service. It’s simply inhumane for students to study under such conditions and yet write the same exams as other students all around the country. It’s unfair and unjust.
Because of the state of the school, most teachers refuse to be posted to Trekome, and so the innocent children in the community are suffering academically and socially, and that shapes their future in a negative way.
Dr. Kwabena Duffuor and Stonebwoy are partnering up to change the future for the children of Trekume and Anloga, as they both share a passion for education and social intervention.”
