American popular actor, Will Smith has slapped comedian on stage at the 2022 Oscar Awards for making a joke about his wife’s hair loss.
Chris Rock during his performance made a joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jaja Pinkett Smith’s bald hair. Jaja Pinkett Smith has Alopecia which resulted in her hair loss.
At first, Will Smith was seen laughing at the joke by Chris Rock. Suddenly, he rose from his seat and to the stage a gave Chris Rock a hot slap in the face.

Many people, including the audience and television viewers, initially thought it was a joke until Will Smith shouted angrily Keep my wife’s name out of your f*cking mouth. it was at this stage that everyone knew Will was serious.
Will Smith later apologized when he mounted the stage to claim his first Oscars after 30 years of acting. He apologized to his fans, his fellow nominees and the Academy but not Chris Rock.
Will Smith had been nominated for best actor in 2022 for ” Ali” and in 2007 for “The Pursuit of Happiness”. he previously lost to Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker.
He has finally won an Oscar for starring in King “Richard” as the coach and father of Venus and Serena Williams.
