The Black Stars of Ghana and the super Eagles of Nigeria will clash in a two-legged World Cup Qualifier match and the winner shall qualify for the Qatar 2022 Fifa World .
The Black Stars will host the Super Eagles at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Friday, 25th March 2022, before travelling to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja for the second leg.
Ahead of the match, the Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club(NFSC) has revealed their plans to embark on a seven-day fasting and prayer session to enable the Super Eagles of Nigeria to beat the black Stars of Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers.

The chairman of Nigeria’s National Supporters’ Club, Samuel Ikpea at a press conference, called on all Nigerians to take part in the fasting and prayer. With fasting and prayer, they believe that the Lord’s blessings will be on them to beat the Black Stars.
“We charge all Nigerians to join members of the NFSC for a 7day fasting and prayer session, starting from Thursday 17th to Wednesday 23rd of March 2022 ahead of the match.
We are all aware of how important the World Cup Qualifiers mean to both countries and African football as a whole. We, therefore, call for calmness among fans before and after the matches”, he said
Mr Ikpea also stated that, to promote sportsmanship, a friendly game between Nigerian supporters and Ghanaian supporters will be played in Accra on 22, 2022.
