When Smith was twelve, his family relocated to Uniondale, Long Island. Smith briefly attended George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School in Brooklyn, where he met future rappers Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G” Wallace and Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter.
