Christopher Lloyd spent his childhood days with his family in Westport, Connecticut, where he attended his elementary and went on to Staples High School.
Since he always wanted to become an actor in the future, he went to acting school after graduating from high school. He started attending acting classes in 1957 at Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City.
Christopher Lloyd made his first theatre appearance in 1961, in “And They Put Handcuffs on the Flowers”, a play by Fernando Arrabal. After that, he also made his first appearance on Broadway in “Red, White, and Maddox” in 1969.
In 1975, Christopher Lloyd played his first film role as a psychiatric patient, Max Taber in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. He also played “Reverend” Ignatowski, the ex-hippie on the Sitcom “Taxi”, for which he was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor.
